I agree to abide by any decision of any race organiser or official with respect to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any race organiser or official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. 

I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants and/or their dogs, the effects of the weather, including excessive heat, cold, and rain, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. 

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my registration, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Australian Sleddog Sports Association (“ASSA”), South Australian Sled Dog Club, all members of the organising committee, all volunteers, all event sponsors and community partners, and their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons and/or entities named in this waiver.  

I hereby affirm that I have read this Waiver and Release and that I fully understand its contents.

I HEREBY GRANT PERMISSION to all of the foregoing to use and distribute any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event containing my image for any legitimate purpose, including but not limited to: future event promotion and promotion of harness dog sports generally.

I hereby acknowledge and agree that I have read and consent to abide by the following documents publicly available here:

3. ASSA Sportsmanship Policy

I understand that these rules and the ASSA Social Code of Conduct exist to promote the safety of all participants (human and canine) and understand that I must abide by these rules in order to participate in this event. I therefore understand and acknowledge that any non-adherence on my part to the within rules may result in sanctioning or my removal from the event grounds.
