Overview & Race Requirements
SASDC is a family friendly and inclusive club; at the end of the day we simply want to see more people getting active with their dogs and having fun on the trails.
Juniors race against each other in their own category for 10-16 year olds. This category allows for 1 dog and the use of a scooter.
We encourage all Juniors to register for the ASSA Junior Development Program.
At SASDC and ASSA we recognise not all 10-16 year olds want to use a scooter or they may have progressed and want to try their skills in other categories such as Bikejoring, 2 Dog Open, or 3 & 4 Dog Open. Parents and Juniors may submit this form to SASDC or ASSA for Open Class Approval:
- Junior Open Class Approval Form
- Canicross – Juniors may enter into canicross without the approval form on the condition an adult runs with them.
